Parents, Jack Cones, Jr., and Jane Cones raised the sisters under their own influences of creativity and music. Jack Cones, Sr. was the first professional photographer in San Antonio. He and his wife, Mickey, owned and operated the well-established Cones Studio until at the age of 73, Mr. Cones, Sr. passed away. Jack Cones, Jr., only 11 years old, and his mother continued the family tradition and later the girls were photographed at every age. Their mother, Jane Cones, was a big band singer known as Jane Henry and her Boyfriends. She and her father, David Henry, appeared on their own radio show as well.
